I was on Facebook this morning, getting ready for work, when this popped up from my webhost, A Small Orange, in my newsfeed. It’s an infographic from Copyblogger.com entitled 22 Ways to Create Compelling Content When You Don’t Have a Clue. The infographic is fun colored, and it details 22 different ways to kill your writer’s block and to come up with new content. Let’s face it: we don’t all always have new ideas when it’s time to publish a new article for the week. Among the suggestions are curation, asking your readers what they would want to read next, Google Trends, comics, and celebrities. The list is well illustrated, and fun to refer to – I hope they make a poster of it! Elsewise I might have to buy some colored printer ink and slap this baby up next to my desk.
I’ll also include the infographic here, for your viewing pleasure, after the jump. In the meantime, riddle me this: What are some ways you get your mental typewriter going when you’ve got no clue what to write?
